Rodd began his investment industry career in 1988 and joined Stifel in 2009. Prior to joining Stifel, he served as a Branch Manager and Financial Advisor for various national and regional investment firms.
A native of Wichita, Kansas, Rodd graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He holds the Certified Public Accountant designation and the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (formally the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
Since 1988, Rodd has held multiple industry-specific securities licenses.
Highly active in the community, Rodd has held leadership roles with the Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority (chairman 2012 to 2015), the Kansas Pooled Money investment board, and as a Boy Scout Leader.
Other activities include board director of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA) and the Jayhawk Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, state employer outreach chair for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), board president for Topeka Habitat for Humanity (2000 to 2002) and Housing and Credit Counseling (1999 to 2001), as well as board director of Topeka Downtown Rotary Club, the Topeka Civitan Club, and the Active 20-30 Club of Topeka.
Rodd is also a lifetime member of the Army Athletic Association and the Wichita State Alumni Association. Besides spending time with his family, Rodd enjoys backpacking, snow skiing, and being outdoors. He and his wife, Elaine, live in Topeka.
